PowerHouse Building Solutions specializes in the distribution of construction products specifically designed to help keep coastal buildings dry and which reduce the potential for mould and moisture damage that occurs even on buildings in the driest of climates. Our products appeal to engineers, architects, contractors and other industry professionals for their abilities to out-perform conventional products and methods, while also saving time and money on each project.
Our goal is to bring new, innovative products to the market which contribute to drier buildings and prevent a recurrence of the 'leaky condo' syndrome which has cost home owners and economies in British Columbia and other areas of Canada billions of dollars.
Although our products are purchased through the finer lumber yards, stucco supply houses, and masonry yards, we maintain close relationships with all industry professionals including architects, engineers, building officials, contractors, and other stakeholders.
PowerHouse Building Solutions is associated with PowerWood Corp — a family owned and operated re-manufacturer of Western Red Cedar, in business since 1995. The two companies share their British Columbia distribution yard located at 9760 190th St, Surrey, BC. PowerHouse has also recently expanded into Ontario and Atlantic Canada with representation and warehousing facilities in Toronto, Ontario and Halfiax, Nova Scotia.
